Project Working Mom offers a website with resources for moms that explain online education and how to juggle work, motherhood and school. The website (www.projectworkingmom.com) also offers a community for moms to connect.
Project Working Mom 2010 (www.projectworkingmom.com) is a full-tuition scholarship program to help send moms back to school tuition free. The program has about $5 million in scholarships and will award about 285 scholarships in 2010. Eight accredited online schools are providing the scholarships: Ashford University, Everest University, Virginia College, Walden University, Capella University, Saint Leo University, Allied Schools and Ashworth College. To apply for a scholarship applicants can go to www.projectworkingmom.com. Interested Moms will need to submit an essay describing why they want to go back to school, their goals, any instances of triumph over adversity and why online education is a good match for them.
The Project Working Mom program runs through September 2010, however scholarships will be awarded throughout the eight-month program. The deadlines to submit an application are March 1, April 27 and September 30. The Project Working Mom scholarships are for online programs from the certificate to Ph.D. level.
MomsZone.org is offering 1 set of 4 tickets EVERY week from Wednesday February 3rd until March 15th.
